1920s Necklaces and Earrings

The famous flapper era showcases the fantastically long necklaces, so popular at the times. They’re so sparkly! Don’t you want to make one of your own? In this class, we will be making a long 1920s beaded necklace and earrings, while discussing appropriate semi-precious stones and patterns.

Registration Fee:
$25 for CGW Members
$30 for non-CGW Members

Teacher provided kit (optional) fee: $55.00
  • Kits are highly recommended but not mandatory. If not interested in purchasing a kit, please contact the teacher at [email protected] for the list of required supplies.
  • Kit fee includes domestic shipping.
  • Kit fee is payable directly to the teacher. The teacher will contact attendees to arrange payment.
Kit includes: Beads, beading needles, thread, findings. 
  • Please specify color (or contact teacher to discuss color options, though this may change kit price).
  • Color options: Cream/off white, black, green, blue, red, and pink. We will be using semi-precious stones, so color can vary.
Additional kits are available for purchase (will combine shipping).

Handouts are included, and will be emailed ahead of time.

Student will need to have:
  • Bead board (or surface with fabric to prevent beads from rolling)
  • Small scissors
  • Measuring tape or ruler
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose pliers (optional)
  • Wire cutters
  • Reading glasses (if you use them)
  • Pen for taking notes
  • Extra light for hand sewing or other close work (optional)

While attending this workshop please sit in a well-lit area.
